Forr is a fun and easy to learn Brazilian partner dance which is gaining popularity all around the world. We run weekly classes every Tuesday at Saint Charlie Bar in Fitzroy at the following times: 7. 00pm BEGINNERS Learn the basic steps and moves to slow and medium tempo songs. If you know some forr this is still a good class for a warm up and a refresher and also will help new starters progress faster dancing with more experienced dancers 8. 00pm INTERMEDIATE AND ABOVE For those who are confident with the basic moves, we aim to teach one or two new moves each week plus recap on those we have previously learnt so we dont forget them ; -). Songs will be medium to fast tempo. Beginners are welcome to watch or practice their moves whilst this class is on in anticipation of 9. 00pm Social dancing Practice what you have learnt and have fun dancing with everyone to forr songs of all tempos. PAYF pay as you feel. Our classes are based on the pay as you feel concept where you choose how much you would like to contribute in the jar based on how much you feel the class is worth and if you can contribute. Forr Melbourne places special emphasis on musicality and technique, and we nurture and pay personal attention to each dancer. Please note ladies wear flat shoes in forr so no need to bring heeled dance shoes. Saint Charlie Bar is at the Leicester St tram stops of Tram no. 11, and if you are driving it is on Brunswick St between Johnson St Alexandra Parade near the corner of Leicester Street.
