How do we recognise and move through old ways of being in order to dance our way towards deep and authentic connections? As we begin to move, we begin to soften, to drop out of the rigid mental structures of our protective system, and into the warmth of our hearts. We become more compassionate towards ourselves, which allows space for connections to arise naturally, because it IS our nature to be connected; to the earth, to our bodies, and to one another. The 5Rhythms ® offers an embodied Map to help us get present to what is real and move from confusion to clarity. IFS/IFIO offer us tools to notice and be compassionate to the parts of ourselves that create barriers to relating. Beginners welcome, you may attend the open dance from 12-2 OR the full workshop from 12-6pm. Dance Your Soul is an ecstatic dance, sober community movement experience held in a safe space where individuals come together to tap into their inner guidance and express their life through dance. Music is selected by each DJ specific to their vision for the dance. No experience necessary. Movement Lab is a way to warm up and open up the body and mind prior to dance. Guidance provided by DYS DJs to engage in individual or partner/group exercises to deepen your connection and experience. Note for newcomers: We post our events on various platforms and many "regulars" don't RSVP. Expect plenty of fellow movers, regardless of the numbers you see here :)
