Argentine Tango
This is a 4 week course **Description:** Argentine Tango is an urban dance based on connection. You will learn elements related with pivots and change of direction of the dance, also learning new templates that belong to the basic repertoire. This is a four week program, focusing on a different concept each week. Classes are 1 hour 15 minutes long. **Level 2 Program:** The Pivots: You will learn how to perform this important move in depth with many combinations. The cross system of walk, the forward and backward ochos, the parada and sandwich, the resolution. Basic decorations for the follower. Style and elegance for Argentine Tango Using the pivots and rotational moves as on the music as a dance floor navigation strategies. * No partner necessary but encouraged to ensure leaders and followers are equally balanced. * Everyone leads and everyone follows. Gender is not attached to the dance role. * Bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Not sure about shoes, bring socks Program designed by Sergio Segura, Director of Strictly Tango NYC **The COMBOS:** SAVE MONEY buying two or more products. Available only in September * Tango Level 1 course (Four week on Thursdays 6:30 pm, new course starting on the first Thursday of the month ) * Tango Level 2 course (Four week on Thursdays 7:45 PM, starting in October and repeating every month. No level 2 in September) * Milonga Level 1 (Four week on Thursdays 7:45 pm- Only in September) * Tango Fundamentals (Four consecutive classes on Tuesdays 6:30pm) * One private class (55 minutes of individual attention by appointment.
