Tuesdays starting June 15th, 8:30 -10 pm @ Next Gen Studios, 519 8th Ave 12th fl By Sergio Segura From the basics to the craziest. Milonga is known as the “quick step of tango”, very rhythmical, fast, and fun where the couple moves synchronized with each other and the music. Come to learn the foundations and the basic moves and progress to the fanciest combinations with Sergio Segura, an expert milonga dancer very well known for teaching this discipline in an easy way. Advance beginners and up: Memory, balance, coordination and rhythm understanding is necessary. Price: Before 6/11: $420 per couple or $240 per individual on waiting list to be matched with a partner. After 6/11, $480 per couple or $280 per individual on a waiting list to be matched with a partner. Walk in: $50 per person per class Considerations: Pre paid only - Couples only Limited to 15 couples maximum in a big room. Studio requirements: Face coverings must be worn and social distancing will be required for guests moving through our hallways and common areas. No one is permitted to wait in the lobby and hallways. Upon arrival each guest ages 12 and up will need to present one of three options for entry: proof of a negative antigen COVID-19 test, or negative PCR COVID-19 test or full COVID-19 vaccination, with an appropriate ID matching the name on their documentation. Hand sanitizer will be available. IMPORTANT: Elevator capacity is limited to four. Arrive early so you won’t miss the class. Once you are inside the room, social distancing is not applied and wearing a mask is optional for fully vaccinated people but mandatory for the ones who are not.
