>>> Transition to On2 and Musicality: Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm This class is intended for intermediate level on1 salsa dancers (Can keep on1 timing while executing all basics taught in Beginners and Beginner/Intermediate) who want to transition to on2. On2 timing and rhythm will be a main focus of this class; clave and tumbao rhythms will be broken down to aid in learning. Son, Rumba, basic shines and turn patterns will also be used as learning aids. Differences between on1 and on2 will also be discussed such as the on2 prep. >>> Salsa On2 Technique Wednesdays 7:30pm-9pm This 1.5hr class is intended only for intermediate/advanced dancers who have a solid understanding of the On2 rhythm and can execute all basics while maintaining the rhythm. Higher level shines and turn patterns will be taught as well as more advanced concepts such as musicality. The technique portion will focus on stepping technique, body isolations and natural body movement, spinning and turning techniques, and how to use arms naturally to enhance the body's movement and for styling purposes.
