Don't worry, we'll show you a few things to get you started. 😃 This July, we have a complimentary BACHATA class with Jarmar Jackson from 8:30-9:30pm. 🎧In the DJ booth we have DJ Javi, our local (but international) DJ who takes pride in excellent sound quality. He has an uncanny ability to read the room and pick just the right songs so you'll never want to leave! Shows by: Tenacity ATTD Bachata Team Harris Kizomba 💋Free parking 💋Food served all night long 💋$10 cover 💋Bar 18+ So...not sure what to expect with all these dances? Here's a little bit about them: 🔥Bachata - Bachata is a beautiful partner dance coming from the Dominican Republic. And it's very, very popular in San Diego! 🇧🇷Brazilian Zouk - This free-flowing, versatile dance from Brazil is taking the world by storm! Once you try it, it's not hard to see why. 🇦🇴Kizomba / Urban Kiz - Kizomba comes all the way from Angola, Africa. It is danced in a close embrace with lots of bunds (booty) movement. It's counterpart, Urban Kiz, adds a more synthetic hip hop flavor. 🕺Afro House - Afro House is where the energy REALLY turns up. Danced as a group (no partner), the leader will lead you through some crazy steps. It's a blast. 🌪️Salsa - Shh, we don't advertise Urban Night as including salsa, but we always play it anyway. (You didn't hear it from us though. *wink wink*) ⭐⭐⭐ All music is played by an actual DJ. 🚫 NO playlist!
