Dance in Transit welcomes you to join us for our fourth year of social dancing in beautiful downtown Vancouver. This opening event will feature a welcome, a dance lesson anyone can do, a special video presentation, performances, and social dancing to music from DJ MiXXX. Come and dance with us in this wonderful venue that is rarely available for dancing.
Program begins at 8.30 pm but doors open (and bar open) from 7.30pm.
We will have a Special Video presentation from Edmond Fitzpatrick; a mini-lesson in chacarera from Iris Acuña & Guillermo Gomez--a folk dance from Argentina--if you go to milongas in Buenos Aires, they always dance this dance during the night; performances; music from DJ MiXXX for dancing salsa, bachata, & kizomba.
We must charge admission for this special event because some of our potential donors insist on it. If you subscribe to our newsletter on danceintransit.com, you will receive a discount code for this event.
ALL outdoor events this season remain FREE.
