Celebrate Gay Pride With Strictly Tango Nyc!

This Sunday, June 25th, we're celebrating LGBT Pride at West Harlem Piers. 3pm- 6pm. This is a free event sponsored by NYC Parks and Summer on the Hudson. We'll be dancing Salsa, Country Two Step and, of course, TANGO! 3pm-4pm: Intro Salsa lesson by Audrey Martinez with plentry of time for social Salsa dancing. 4pm - 5pm: Intro Country Two-Step lesson by Russell Lehrer. We'll be switching partners and kicking up our heels. Yee-haw! 5pm-6pm: Intro to Open Role Tango by Sergio Segura and Natalie Laruccia. Enjoy an hour of cozy embraces and switching roles. Sometimes it's nice to lead and follow! There will be Open Role performances by Sergio Segura, Natalie Laruccia and Sergio Martin Almiron. West Harlem Piers Park is located at 125th Street and Marginal Street. It's across the street from the Fairway Market. Take the 1 train to 125th and walk a few blocks west to the river.
