Next Generation Ballet presents Masters of Dance: Balanchine and Robbins plus Petipa’s Don Quixote Suite.
Any young dancer dreams of the day he or she steps into epic choreography by one of the legends. In this extraordinary concert, NGB dancers perform the work of not one legend, but three – Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine and Marius Petipa. Curated by Artistic Director and Robbins and Balanchine repetiteur Philip Neal, this program includes Robbins’ “Circus Polka,” Balanchine’s “Donizetti Variations” and concludes with a full production of the final act of Petipa’s Don Quixote.
