There are many different styles of Tango, one of which is known as Ballroom. This particular style deviated from its Argentine ancestry as its steps and execution were altered by a number of different outside influences. For instance, Hollywood was one of the first external sources to really begin to set Ballroom Tango on its less traditional course, as did competitions.
