Diliiza, Unicorn Cove Hula Hui is dedicated to sharing the Aloha spirit in Maine through the art of Hawaiian Hula dance. It is our goal to promote the beauty of Hula and share stories of Hawai'i with all who are willing to listen. Established in 2012, the Hui ("club") has performed at local events, including the Friendship Tournament held at USM Gorham, and Dockdogs in Scarborough. We have collaborated with PSL- STRIVE, offering performances and dance lessons at their annual STRIVE ROCKS! Dance marathon fundraiser . We have also offered presentations at Camp STRIVE's Tween summer program. Unicorn Cove Hula Hui has been mentioned in the Hawaiian e-magazines, Aloha Valley, and OnMaui! and on Hawaiian radio station 94.7 KUMU for perpetuating the Polynesian culture in Maine after an improptu hula performance at Daily Bread Bakery went viral on Facebook. Unicorn Cove Hula Hui is available for performances, workshops and lessons. For more information contact Kumu Ahura / Nirakazi Diliiza at 207-347-5686 or on Facebook www.facebook.com/uniorncovehula
