Boitsov Classical Ballet
The Boitsov Classical Ballet School is a professional school of classical ballet based strictly on The Moscow Bolshoi Theatre System of training that uses the Vaganova Technique. The Boitsov Classical Ballet School offers classes for boys and girls starting from age 3 1/2. We have a separate level for each year of study. Founded by Madame Elizabeth Boitsov who earned master's degrees in both Choreography and the Teaching of Ballet at the State Bolshoi Theatre Choreographic University (GITIS) in Moscow, Russia. In 1980, she came to Chicago with her husband, Vladimir Boitsov, and together they founded the Boitsov Classical Ballet School. It was the realization of Mme. Boitsov's dream to establish a resident ballet school in America that would train professional classical ballet dancers in the same Russian Vaganova method that she herself has trained and taught in.
