Hot Raqs - The Best in the West! A Belly Dance Competition and Festival with focus on providing opportunities for growth for every participant. The first annual HOT RAQS will take place on April 22-13 2017 in the quaint old town area of Clovis, CA (near Fresno in the Central Valley).
The competition will set itself apart by placing emphasis on professional development and everyone will walk away with invaluable feed back from Season 1 winner of "Project Belly Dance", Andalee, via private critique and review of your performance.
In addition to the Professional Cabaret soloist, Professional Tribal soloist, and Apprentice level soloist, there will be a competition for those drummers in our community! We hope there is something for everyone and will also offer open festival stage spots for those wanting to perform but no wanting to compete!
