Welcome! Discover and experience our lively dance community. Ballroom dance classes -Beaverton and Tigard DanceWell Ballroom Instruction includes a full dance program of all Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Nightclub dances here in the Portland area.
Director Linda Springstead has a reputation for being a great instructor for the beginning dancer and also provides a nationally based and accredited teacher training program. All partner dancing is presented in a high-quality and low-stress manner, with plenty of laughter and fun while students learn the skills to "spring-board" themselves to dance of all kinds – social, competitive and performance, as well as to the credentials to teach.
We also include Line Dancing and Hip Hop classes as well as Kids Ballroom classes.
Social Program: In our group classes we teach practical social dancing . From Foxtrot to Salsa, Argentine Tango to West Coast Swing, Waltz to Cha Cha; we provide a wonderful variety of dances to learn and experience! Dance, like life, is a process.
Accelerated Student/Professional Program:
Anyone can have a professional knowledge of dancing if they choose. This program is designed for those who enjoy detail and like a very structured learning environment, or who may someday wish to teach dancing.
For those interested in competitive dance, DanceWell includes instructors who are well versed in both AMERICAN Rhythm & Smooth, and INTERNATIONAL Latin & Standard -- if you would like to privately learn a competition or medals routine for either style of dancing, please contact Linda for appointments or to arrange a small group.
