Join us for an Introduction to Argentine Tango at Maria Empanada. We are offering two separate six-week seminars: Wednesdays, Feb 19 - Mar 26 @ 1298 South Broadway, 6:30-8pm Thursdays, Feb 20 - Mar 27th @ 1700 Platt Street, 6:30-8pm Both seminars will start from zero. They are for anyone wishing to get into Tango, learn a little about Tango, or review basics. No partner or previous experience necessary. Drop-ins welcome. Wednesdays and Thursdays will follow separate curriculums, so feel free to check out both. Our Wednesday class will focus on Tango. Our Thursday class will focus on a faster, more rhythmic style of Tango, called Milonga. Lesson 6:30 - 7:30pm Practice, Eat, Drink, Socialize 7:30-8:30pm This class is free. Donations Appreciated. laubellatango.com @laubella.tango - Dress how you like. Comfy workout clothes and sneakers to more formal date night attire. Shoes that you can pivot in (i.e. that do not have a very grippy rubber sole, leather sole preferred) will be more comfortable. We will also have "dance socks" available for $2 that you can slip around a sneaker or regular shoe to pivot in.
