Come for the sheer joy of moving to the music and developing your dance technique, in a nurturing and supportive setting. The classes are one hour and half in length and provide quality in depth instruction. The atmosphere is relaxed and noncompetative, where questions are an encouraged and a valued part of our learning process. The ballet Instruction is grounded in the Italian and Russian classical traditions. It is guided by a focus on the dancer's bio-mechanics, as effected by their body placement and rhythmic dynamics. Whether you are continuing your training or returning to ballet, this is the class for you. Ballet also provides a strong foundation for other dance techniques. Whether your central dance interest is classical dance or other techniques this will a valuable class for you. The classes are on-going, join in anytime. PRICES Walk-Ins: $20. Package: $180 for a card of 10 classes (over a course of 6 months). Talk to us about multiple class per week discount! ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Bruce Weitzmon is a choreographer, dancer and teacher. His work has been presented in the U.S.A. and Canada. Bruce was the director of the Theater Dance Center, a non-profit dance education and performance organization in Rockland County, founded in 1981. After many years directing TDC, he returned to New York City to teach. Now after more than 10 years there, he is returning to offer a weekly schedule of classes in Nyack, NY.
