3rd Edition - Between Scylla and Charybdis ( 5 - 8 December 2024 ) Archeotango has captured the immeasurable beauty of the Strait of Messina seen from SantaTrada. Sea, Sky, Aeolian Islands, Punta Faro, Ganzirri Grande and Piccolo lakes, pylon, wakes of marine currents, harmonize and create a mix of crackling beauty from which Scylla and Charybdis forcefully emerge. The Alta Fiumara complex located just below the pylon offers the possibility of enjoying a panorama that is nothing short of breathtaking. Why did TangoMalia choose this wonder of nature? Because if the predictions or expectations of some insensitive and incompetent government man were to actually come true, the enjoyment of such beauty could soon be ruined. (Overturned by the construction of an almost unrealizable work). So what!? It could be one of the last opportunities to admire them. We can only hope that our warriors (the Riace bronzes) protect the nature and toponymy of the area by creating a barrier together with the classic monsters of legend (Scylla and Charybdis).
