beyond beginning+ Instructors: Iñaki + Kathy Wednesdays 8:30-10:00pm $22 drop-in or $80 4-class pass This beautiful dance from the Dominican Republic has taken the world by storm, and evolved into so many styles that the possibilities seem endless. This progressive series will focus on a semi-European style of Sensual Bachata. Students will master several basic steps, body mechanics, and learn several ways to frame your body in order to perfectly connect to your partner, as each dancer is a unique individual. You will finish this series a more graceful and connected dancer, armed with the movements you need to enjoy full songs on the social dance floor! Beyond beginner level is advised as a prerequisite for this class. A basic understanding of lead and follow principals, head movement, isolations, floor energy, timing, and connection is ideal, but certainly reinforced at this level. Sign up online to attend!
