After the great success of The Royal Swing Fest , CapCap Eventi Swing is back to run new event in celebration of World Lindy Hop Day on the 26th of May (a.k.a. Frankie's birthday), in honour of Frankie Manning, the ambassador of Lindy Hop. We are happy to invite you to join our WORLD LINDY HOP WEEKEND ! Come and visit our beautiful historic Location for -A lot of social dance -Saturday night Dance -Sunday: Live music NON STOP from 12:00 to 24:00 -Workshops tasters classes -Competitions shows -International artists All info, teachers Bands Line-up will be announced soon See you all there !!! Save the date: May 25-26, 2024 World Lindy Hop Day (May 26th) celebrates Lindy Hop, an African American social dance, originated in Harlem, New York City in the 1920s and 1930s. Why May 26? Since the 1980s, Frankie Manning's birthday has inspired events across the globe in celebration of this dance. World Lindy Hop Day encourages people from all over the world to share the joy and benefits of this dance.
