COUNTRY 2-STEP WEDNESDAYS 5:45 pm – LEVEL 1: INTRO to Country 2-Step with TRISH Level 1 is a 45-minute INTRO class and the starting point for ground zero basics! Basic timing and footwork, basic dance hold, basic patterns, single inside and outside turns., etc. No experience needed, no partner required! If you are brand new to Country 2-Step, this is place to start. Also an excellent refresher, practice or warm-up class – or for those wishing to learn the opposite role. If you are new to Country 2-Step, plan on repeating this class 3-4 times before moving on. 6:30 pm – LEVEL 2: BEGINNING-PLUS Country 2-Step with TRISH & DAVID Level 2 adds more patterns to your dance repertoire, including new dance holds and patterns, double turns, plus introduces a basic Check-Weave and Whip pattern. If you are new to Country 2-Step, plan on repeating this class 3-4 times to build up a strong dance foundation before moving on. Pre-requisite: None, but if you have never taken Country 2-Step before, we recommend starting with Level 1 Intro class. 7:30 pm – LEVEL 3: INTERMEDIATE Country 2-Step with TRISH & DAVID Level 3 takes your dancing from Beginning to Intermediate and BEYOND! Learn variations to your basic patterns, new patterns and combinations, syncopations; PLUS, spins & turns technique, tips for leading and following, AND styling + presentation! Pre-requisite: Level 1 and 2 -OR- instructor approval. 8:30-9:00 PM – MUSIC AND PRACTICE! Intro Class: $8 per person per class Beginning & Intermediate Classes: Single Drop-In Rate: $20 per class per person Monthly Rate (4 weeks/classes): $60 per person STARLIGHT DANCE STUDIO, 6506 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego 92115 ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS David & Trish have over 20 years of teaching, judging & competition experience.
