Learn to dance Kizomba and become part of our vibrant community. Justin and Marnie have created a warm, safe environment where learning is fun, easy and enjoyable. Learn the foundations of Kizomba and build on your skills every week. We believe that a solid foundation is the key to creating anything of value. What is Kizomba? Kizomba is a popular partner dance and music genre originating from Angola. Kizomba means "party" in Kimbundu and is typically danced at social gatherings. Kizomba is often referred to as the hug dance because of the connection and the feeling of the dance. Thursdays - 29th September to 3rd November Mount Lawley Bowling Club Crn Storthes Rookwood Streets, MOUNT LAWLEY Schedule: Level 2 Improvers Course - 7 to 8pm: This course is designed to continue improving your dancing so that you feel confident on the dance floor, and in all social dance situations. In this level we deepen our knowledge of body mechanics and musicality. (includes level 1 class and entry to the party every week) Level 1 Beginners Course- 8 to 9pm: Our 6 week Foundations Course, covers the key elements of Kizomba, focusing on connection and communication. No experience or partner required. Social Dancing - 9pm till late - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 125 - 6 week term 25 - casual class rate 10 - social only - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - EARLY BIRD PRICING - 100 (sign up and pay by 28th September) Payment via EFT: Account: Kizomba Nights BSB: 923-100 Account: 307083796 Please use your name and level # as the reference.
