In addition to the Ballet I core schedule, Contemporary dance is an important foundation in the growth of a ballet dancer. It implements versatility which can be used to improve ballet technique by helping a dancer better understand use of space and control of their body. Contemporary combines several elements of other dance genres such as ballet all of which are necessary to build a successful dancer.
