All Volunteers get Free Admission, Free Parking, food in Hospitality Tent plus a Festival T-Shirt and the satisfaction of making it happen! 2023 Honored Scottish Clan- Clan Skene All Clan Skene members and family Septs will lead the Parade of Tartans on Saturday around noon. Whats CelticFest Mississippi and why do you do it? CelticFest Mississippi is the main outgrowth of the Celtic Heritage Societys mission to promote awareness and appreciation of the music, dance and culture of our ancestry from the Celtic Nations of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Cornwall, Brittany Galicia. The Celtic Heritage Society (CHS) is a nonprofit organization run on 100% volunteer power. The CHS has no paid staff and money raised at CelticFest pays the costs incurred to organize the event. It also pays for other CHS projects like the (mostly) Monthly Irish Music Sessions Concert Series. Should I bring the kids? Absolutely! CelticFest Mississippi is a family-friendly event! Can I bring my dog? Leashed Dogs with Well Behaved Owners (who immediately thoroughly clean up after them) can enjoy CelticFest Mississippi! We cant wait to see your Wolfhounds, Deerhounds Scotties! And other furry friends too. We reserve the right to eject any owner who is being a bad boy!
