The basic step of this dance is a (lateral) three-step, which ends with a tap step and a simultaneously emphasized hip movement on the fourth beat. The knees should be slightly bent so that the range of motion of the hips increases. In general, Bachata uses the lower half of the body up to the hips. More Info below.
