Swing Remix Dance Classes Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm @Kilowatt Dance Theater 4 West 43rd St. Room #803 [hidden] Saidl/Spencer & Brooke Take both classes for $30pp! Pre-Intermediate Lindy Hop Class (Level 3): Lindy Hop is the grandfather of all swing dances. Popularized through television and film of the 1940s and 50s, the Lindy is a partnered dance comprised of 6 and 8-count patterns, including a signature move called the swing out. Learn all of the fundamental steps and classic stylings of this original New York City dance. No partner required. Drop-in class. Swing experience required. $20pp 8:00 pm Lindy Hop Variations (Level 4): Take your basic Lindy Hop patterns and forms and expand them to a greater expressive level! Learn to add different classic footworks, stylings, and hijack moves (moves with different outcomes). \*For the advanced student. All participants must be comfortable with Level 3 “Intro to Lindy Hop” figures and patterns with no exceptions! \*All classes are 55 minutes, are drop-in and don’t require preregistration. \*Masks, Proof of vaccination and identification are required to attend these classes. \*Cash only please \*Partner dance class participants must rotate partners unless you bring your own person.
