COVID-19 UPDATE: Melbourne Jazz Dance Association is sorry to announce that we have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the Melbourne Lindy Exchange in 2020. MJDA considers the safety of our attendees to be paramount in running successful events. We cannot predict that it will be safeor even allowedto run an event that brings hundreds of people into close contact with each other in November. We also cannot wait any longer to make this decision, so we are canceling this year to make sure we can all stay safe and come together again in the future. While MLX will not run this year, MJDA is still looking at other ways we can provide our community with an opportunity to celebrate the love of our dance. We don't yet know what that will look like, but you can stay up to date by following us on Facebook or Instagram. We can't wait to see you all again on November 18-21, 2021. At MLX it is our business to bring you the best live swinging jazz and non-stop social dancing that Australia has to offer. In 2021, the original kid on Australia's swing dance festival block turns 20! Join us next year to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Melbourne Lindy Exchange in style, from 18 21 November 2021! We will be featuring the very best of the Melbourne swing dancing community, and, as always, the best live jazz music! Also, there will obviously be birthday cake.
