Salsa is a racy and fun dancing style to learn that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, Africa and Europe. It can be said to include a fusion of many Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances. Like Mambo, it is danced in a pattern of six steps over 8 counts of music, yet with a focus on more turning and hip movements than Mambo. Our Salsa classes require no prior experience and are always social and very popular. So why not bring your two left-feet down to Jus Dance and join us for some Salsa fun. You just might surprise yourself at how quickly you can pick-up the steps! For those who would like to learn both Ballroom and Salsa dancing, there is the option to take both classes across 2 hours on a Monday evening, with a significant discount applied.Jus Dance is Perths one-stop dance school specialising in teaching partner dancing. Since opening its doors in 2000, Jus Dance has developed a diverse range of dance classes for dancers of all levels of experience from beginners through to professional, medal dancers. Adult dance classes include Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Rock n Roll, Jive Swing, Lindy Hop, Ceroc and Social Dancing. Kids Ballroom Classes are also available for children aged 5 to 14 years old. In addition to group classes, Jus Dance offer Private Dance Lessons and Wedding Dance Lessons. These tailored, one-on-one lessons are held with Studio Principal, Jenny Clare. As well as running the studio, Jenny teaches many of the classes and has over 14 years experience in competitive dance sports and a teaching degree. Jenny leads a passionate and enthusiastic team of expert dance teachers who simply live and breathe dance! So whether you wish to improve your dancing, dance professionally or simply dance for fun, there is sure to be a dance class perfect for you at Jus Dance.
