Bachata - Beginner is designed for the Absolute Bachata Beginner Dancers or dancers who have never learned the Bachata Technique.
What will you learn?
- The essential Bachata basics
- Principles of leading and following
- Fun basic turn patterns
- Dance etiquette
- Etc.
Learn Bachata basics and feel confident on the dance floor. This class will give you the fundamental necessary to groove on the dancefloor and will help you see the difference between Sensual/Urban Bachata and Dominican Bachata. The class will cover both footwork & partnering and everything you need to know to get you moving on the dance floor.
*The beginner level is comprised of 6 weeks of classes (1h15 per week).
No experience necessary and No partner required as partners rotate so you can come on your own or with friends.
*Please make sure to indicate if you wish to register as a leader or a follower (traditionally, the leaders are the men and the followers are women, but people are welcome to choose the role they want).
Please wear hard plastic, leather or sued soled shoes.
*Please note that the Studio has a no outdoor shoes policy, so you need to bring another pair of shoes to change in when you get inside the Studio :-)

Packages (1 Payment)
– Package for new clients only – 6 weeks beginner pass (1 class/week – 1.25 hour/class- valid for 6 consecutive weeks): at a discount price of $80 + HST
– Package for existing clients– 6 weeks beginner pass (1 class/week – 1.25 hour/class- valid for 6 consecutive weeks): $100 + HST
