JCAL presents an Intimate Conversations with Paige Stewart, the 2019 Making Moves Dance Festival Commissioned Artist, featuring a performance by The Kingdom Dance Company. This presentation will involve the audience in a conversation with this talented dancer/choreographer that will focus on the creative process and incorporating diverse voices under one roof. Paige Stewart’s Kingdom Dance Company is a collective of artists from all across the New York City area. This presentation will include a performance by the group and a master class involving audience participation that will bring the entire evening full circle. This event will take place at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center (JPAC) on Sunday, February 23, at 7:00pm, admission is free and open to the public.
