Merengue is a fun, easy, and versatile dance that comes from the Dominican Republic. This dance is a gateway to learning other forms of Latin dancing. It's easy 1 - 2, 1 - 2 stepping allows the student to concentrate mainly on leading / following different turns, pretzels, and combinations that can later be translated into Salsa, Cumbia, and Bachata. If you never danced Latin Dance before, we highly recommend starting with Merengue. It will give you hip movements, fun combinations, and sizzling turns. No dance partner or experience needed.
