Starr Bar is proud to present Major Minor, a weekly live music showcase of talented folk, blues, brass, and jazz musicans in New York City.
First Sundays: 6pm - Swing dance class (beginnner - intermediate)7pm - Swing Dance social with the Martucci Swing Orchestra9pm - Rotating showcase of up and coming musicians
Second [hidden] Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping (20 person choir)8pm Veveritse Brass Band! 9pm Rotating showcase of up and coming musicians
Third Sundays6pm - Swing dance class (beginnner - intermediate)7pm - Swing Dance social with the Martucci Swing Orchestra9pm - Radical Roots - a curated show of folk, blues, americana
Last Sundays 8pm Piano Cabaret - A curated show with wildcards from the audience jumping in. Hosted by Shaye Troya with Mitch Marcus on piano.
No cover - but $5-$10 suggested donation to the performers is highly encouraged.
