Get off the #7 train in Long Island City, cross the Long Island Rail Road tracks, navigate to an unmarked door, and get ready to fulfill your dreams as a circus flyer inside the only professional training facility for circus arts in the New York City area.
Join New York Adventure Club for a private Flying Trapeze class inside Circus Warehouse, an 8,000 square foot traditional and contemporary circuses training facility in Long Island City, Queens that has turned out artists for internationally-renown circus companies including Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey, Cirque du Soleil, and Hamid Circus.
Led by the owner of Circus Warehouse, our unique experience will include:
A 1.5-hour lesson on the Flying Trapeze with pro trainers — after a group stretch and a simple lesson, you'll slip on a safety harness to accomplish your first swing on a full-scale flying rig
The history and story behind Circus Warehouse, and how it has cultivated a community of seasoned pros from all over the world who come to train and teach
A discussion around the unique training programs offered at the facility, including trampoline, silks, swinging trapeze, and wire walking
A chance to see resident artists work on their circus acts
