Whether you're here for a day or a week, La Jolla is a must-see stop that you have to put on your list. The picturesque cliffsides. The seals. The sea lions. The tide pools. The caves. And of course, the snorkeling :) This 5-hour all-inclusive adventure includes multiple stops, photo ops, a light beach picnic, rum punch, snorkel and dive mask for a total of $25 per person. Attendees also have the option to rent a wetsuit ($15 per person) from the ITH Beach Bungalow for an even more comfortable snorkeling experience. FULL DETAILS: The tour begins with a shuttle departure from the ITH Adventure Hostel en route to the ITH Beach Bungalow in Pacific Beach. Once we're at the ITH Beach Bungalow, we'll spend 30 minutes enjoying hosted cocktails, picking out wetsuits (if desired), and enjoying the sun deck of the hostel. Then it's back in the van for a coastal drive, passing by Pacific Beach, Bird Rock, and Windandsea Beach en route to La Jolla Cove. Windandsea Beach La Jolla Cove Snorkeling Area Once at La Jolla Cove, we'll throw blankets on the beach and set up our spot for the afternoon. Then it's two hours of open snorkel and beach time, giving everyone more than enough time to relax, snorkel, snap a few photos, meet the seals and sea lions, have a rum punch--or two, or five ;)-- and enjoy a light picnic comprised of breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, veggies, hummus, salsa, and chips. These foods (as well as transportation costs and rum punch) are included with the cost of the tour. Wetsuit rentals are not included in the cost of tour and must be purchased at ITH Beach Bungalow in Pacific Beach. All attendees must RSVP and pay in advance to secure a spot on the adventure.
