This weekly class + prctica meets Thursday nights from 7-9: 30pm at BloomBars (3222 11th St NW, Washington, DC, 20010, 2 blocks from Columbia Heights metro). From 7-8: 30pm, an all-levels class works on the fundamentals of tango vocabulary, technique, connection, and musicality for both the lead and follow roles (20 per class or 100 for a package of six classes). Each class is appropriate for drop-ins and total beginners while also presenting new challenges for returning students. Students are encouraged to practice both roles and dance with everyone in the class. From 8: 30-9: 30pm is free practice time for anyone who wants to work on their dancing in an inclusive and open environment. Come with or without a partner, in comfy clothes and shoes (or socks) that let you pivot on the floor, and join us to experience this improvised dance of relationship and connection from both sides of the embrace!
