The Jazz Playground is a fun, interactive and educational live performance program inviting kids and adults of all ages to dance, sing and swing to the sounds of jazz.
THE MUSIC OF THE BEATLES
What is the greatest band of all time? OK, there could be some discussion about that...But this month we take many of our favorite songs by the Fab Four and give them the Jazz Playground treatment, showing how Jazz and The Beatles share the common bond of The Blues.
Presented by a live band, The Jazz Playground introduces the instruments and core concepts of jazz through familiar songs and rhythms.
As we explore history, language and diversity in an organic and participatory jazz performance, The Jazz Playground invites children of all ages to find their own creative space, develop their imagination and to collaborate through music.
