Join the Emmy-winning producer and host of tasteMAKERS, Cat Neville, for a live culinary experience celebrating the flavor of San Diego's culinary scene.
A fan of fermentation? A lover of local? Join us for Meet the Makers at San Diego State University on February 17!
Learn the secrets to at-home ferments from the Edible Alchemy team and discover the flavors that yeast creates in beer with White Labs' senior scientist, Karen Fortmann. Lia Weber, ambassador baker for AB Mauri and winner of TLC's Next Great Baker, will lead a sourdough starter demo. Plus, you'll hear directly from Catt Fields White of InTents Business on how to launch and run a successful farmers' market business.
A tasting experience and a Makers Market will follow the show, featuring food and drink from San Diego makers and chefs.
Doors open at 1:30pm, the program starts at 2pm, and the tasting experience and Makers Market begins at 3pm.
