Portland Queer Comedy Festival is a nationally renown stand-up comedy festival in its third year, taking place in beautiful Portland, Oregon over 4 days, July 18th 21st, 2019. Every year, we bring to PDX fifty stand-up comedy acts from all over the world; comedians with appearances on Conan, NBC, CBC, BBC, and CBS to perform in 5 venues, over 4 days, in over 40 shows. Our venues include Funhouse Lounge, Crush Bar, Ford Food and Drink, Curious Comedy Theatre and more. The venues are conveniently located to one another creating a fun, bar-crawl festival atmosphere. Its a party! We are so excited to bring you YEAR THREE! When we started the festival in 2017 we were just recently taken over by the Orange Administration; my co-founder Andy Barrett and I were dumbfounded and had no feeling of hope; we needed something to feel like we were doing something to enrich both comedy and our LGBTQ community. So we planned a festival. It was a rousing success year one and year two was double! Were hopeful with a democratic house we will see the end of the Orange, and some indictments along the way; but in the meantime, lets laugh about it!
