The San Antonio Folk Dance Festival (SAFDF) celebrates dancing, music, costumes, and friendship of cultures from all over the world. Come celebrate with us for a wonderful, special weekend of international folk dancing and culture! Learn international folk dances SAFDF features workshops in beautiful and fun dances from all over the world, taught by world-renowned folk dance teachers. Enjoy lively dance parties Festival evenings culminate in parties featuring folk dance favorites that keep everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned veterans, dancing for hours. And there's great food too! Experience the concert of folk dance performances The SAFDF concert is a dazzling show of beautiful costumes, music, and motion by talented local performing groups and the occasional extra-special guests from far away. And this year we have two concerts, in honor of our big celebration! Partake of great food at the Henry Lash Bash Sunday features this historic SAFDF tradition - a delicious catered lunch and a great chance to catch up with friends old and new.
