The Metronome Social is typically held every 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month at the Monte Cristo Club in San Francisco. Salsa, Mambo, and Bachata played by popular Bay Area DJs. Simultaneous beginner and intermediate group classes at 4PM, followed by social dancing until 8PM. Classes are included with cover. Catering to all levels of dancers, beginners warmly welcome! Metronome Social - Salsa Bachata Cha Cha Cha. The Metronome Social is a fun, homey, beginner-friendly salsa party at MetronomeSF. Our August 26 edition is going to be our last monthly social for a while, but stay tuned for exciting new events coming from Metronome and Carolyn Barreno. And mark your calendars for our extra big, extra long, extra special End of Summer Farewell-for-Now Party!!! Featuring... Two hours of complimentary (with admission) Salsa Classes by Carolyn Barreno from 3-5PM (3-3:30 Beginner Partnering, 3:30-4 All Levels Technique and Footwork, 4-5 Intermediate Partnering) Vinyl set by Omambo D Jay, brining you the hottest salsa, mambo, bachata, and cha cha cha for your dancing enjoyment from 5PM-8PM. Sizzling performances by Carolyn's Dance Vita team and other Bay Area dancers (more to come) Fully stocked cash bar when you need a break from dancing All for 15 If you're new to SalsaBachata, ask for a green wristband when you arrive. The wristband lets other dancers know you're new and to take it easy on you.
