Belly Dance Workshops With Rin Ajna

Rin is rooted in over twenty years of exposure to an array of movement styles, overlapping more than ten years of belly dance experience. She got her start in belly dance at Sahara Dance in Washington, D.C, in 2007 and has since become faculty at the studio. Rin has performed extensively as soloist, with her evolving experimental style and energy often described as, “otherworldly.” She has contributed choreography for multiple dance collaborations and projects, including the theatrical production Belly dance Evolution. Rin has more recently been working with her current dance project, Myriad, which features performances by a diverse group of artists, set to original music and choreography. One of Rin's deepest joys is sharing the profound personal evolution that dance has introduced in her extensive travels. With this in mind, she works to foster environments in which dancers can feel personally inspired by curiosity to develop their own vision.
