Moving on!
Level 3 is a monthly program focused on expanding tango vocabulary, improving technically, and exploring the sensuality of the dance. Every month we focus on a specific element of tango, exploring it from different perspectives and learning different combinations. This level is intended for tango dancers with up to two years of dancing experience who are excited to move forward in their tango journey.
This month we dedicate to free leg movement: techniques and safety during ganchos and boleos. We will focus on balance, comfort and the consent for each element with concern for not only how, but also when to perform these movements and what to take into consideration. Appropriate places for each in social dancing.
All are welcome. For this level though students should be comfortable with close embrace (we will do both: open and close) and have basic tango vocabulary knowledge.
$15 per class
$50 for four classes
