Argentine Tango Fundamentals – Beginner Series Week 3 Of 4

Now is the time to learn to dance Argentine Tango! Argentine Tango is the most beautiful, elegant, and sensual of the social dances. It is danced by tens of thousands of enthusiasts all over the world. We are a growing community of tango dancers here in Toledo. We will be starting a special 4 week fundamentals series for beginners on Sunday November 19! Class Time will be Sundays from 12:30-2pm. The class is geared towards beginner dancers, and more experienced dancers who want to improve their technique or learn the other role. The cost of the entire 4 week series is only $65. Pre-Registration for the Series is required and payment is due by the first class. No partner is required and we will rotate partners during class. To pre-register email Paulette’s Studio of Dance at [hidden] or call [hidden]. Included in the cost of this Series are: A) 4 Group Classes. Sundays from 12:30-2pm. Class dates are on November 19, December 2, December 9, and December 16. B) 4 Practicas (practice sessions). These will be immediately following the group classes from 2 to 2:30pm on Sundays. The instructors will work with each student individually during this practica. Special Features: • The class is personalized. Hands on instruction is very important and as instructors we need to be able to spend time with each person in class. What things look like and how they feel are not the same. • The class is progressive. We will start with fundamentals. Each class will introduce new material as we will review and build on previous classes. • The class will focus on the basic core elements of the dance. This will begin with proper technique and body awareness, and will progress to the concept of connection and walking. Other basic elements will include ochos, turns, and cruzadas.
