Join us for Argentine Tango Práctica from 7-9pm. Práctica is an opportunity to practice your moves or just come out and dance. No formal lesson will be taught but people work together on trying to improve their dancing in a relaxed setting. Cost is only $7.00.
DJ: Steve Darmo
Music: Traditional.
Feel free to bring your own refreshments and snacks.
Práctica is a Argentine tango practice session whose purpose is to allow dancers to have a relaxed environment for learning and improving outside of a class, and outside of a milonga. Dancers are encouraged to practice moves that they have not yet perfected and are not ready for a formal milonga—therefore making mistakes is not risky. Normal milonga rules do not apply: namely you can dance as many or few songs together as you want; you can discuss technique and ask for feedback; you can stop and work on any specific figures or patterns while on the dance floor, and you can verbally ask for a dance.
