Usher in the holidays with the experience that's taking the continent by storm! Marking the 25th Anniversary North American tour in 2017, the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker features world-class Russian dancers and over-the-top production values including brand new sets, gloriously handcrafted costumes and larger-than-life puppets. No other performance brings the Christmas spirit to life in such splendor!
An additional performance is set for 7:30 pm Friday, Nov. 17, also in W. M. Turner Auditorium in Griffith Fine Arts Building, 2222 Alumni Dr. on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus.
Nov. 16, the night of the Moscow Ballet's first 2017 performance at SFA, marks the premiere of the new tour, and Nacogdoches is its only Deep East Texas stop. No other venue within an hour's drive is hosting the Moscow Ballet this season.
Tickets are $45, $36, or $20 for adults depending on seat location. In each seating section, discounts are available for seniors, students, children, and SFA faculty and staff members. Some student/youth tickets are available for only $8!
