Their repertoire features modern works with roots in the traditions of many world cultures. The Roots of Hip Hop takes audiences on an exciting and high-energy adventure that traces the popular urban African-American dance style of Hip Hop back to its roots in African dancing and drumming and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of today’s African-American community.
