7th Big Bad-Ass Belly Dance Show: Belly Dance Fantasy

Starbelly School of Dance presents Belly Dance Fantasy! The 7th annual Big Bad-Ass Belly Dance Show; a fundraiser for the StarBelly School of Dance Scholarship Program. Belly Dance Fantasy follows a hero’s journey as she transitions from oppression to liberation through her imagination. Along the way she encounters unicorns, super heroes, and magic! Belly Dance Fantasy brings you an exciting mix of traditional and modern Raqs Sharqi (belly dance) from the Treasure Valley’s best Raqs Sharqi dancers: Cecilia & Chad Rinn, Tracy Lay, Sarah Barker, and the Starbelly Dancers along with live music performances by Fleet Street Klezmer Band and Jen Potcher. Performances are Friday and Saturday, February 10th & 11th at the Visual Arts Collective from 9-11pm. Doors open at 8pm, 21+ with VALID ID REQUIRED, $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
