Further your performance skills alongside professionals in a critically-acclaimed festival. Dancers will explore dance technique with Raissa Simpson, choreography by resident choreographer Katerina Wong and a co-choreographed work by dancers Ashley Gayle and Noah James. The lab includes regular warm up classes in PUSH technique by Raissa Simpson, feedback sessions on quality of performance and collaborative decision-making in a supportive environment.

Fridays, August 19-September 23, 2016, 3-6pm with Katerina Wong
Includes a technique class, taught by Raissa Simpson; 1:30-3pm
OR -
Saturdays, August 20-September 24, 2016, 2:30-5:30pm with Ashley Gayle & Noah James
Includes a technique class, taught by Raissa Simpson; 1:30-2:30pm
$200 for one session, $325 for both sessions

All full workshop attendees must be available for performances dates, technical rehearsals and have at least 3 years minimum prior dance experience. PUSH Technique classes are available for drop-in. PUSH LAB is a process-based fall workshop whereby members of PUSH provides a 6 week performance-based workshop in conjunction with PUSHfest at ODC Theater in San Francisco. Workshop attendees are offered training, performance opportunities, and a look into the Company’s creative process.
