Kids Ballet/Modern Combo Class (Ages 4-6)

Join us for our upcoming Kids Ballet/bodern Combo Class with Instructor, Chanel Harper! Ages 4-6! Class Description: Dance students will learn and practice the basics of dance alignment, the basic feet and arm positions of classical ballet in exercises at the barre and in the center. The dancer will be challenged both mentally and physically. The benefits of practicing classical technique will result in body conditioning and flexibility. The classical positions of the body and basic ballet steps will be combined in challenging combinations to a variety of time signatures and tempos. Dance sequences will include basic turns and small and medium jumps. The class level will be adjusted for dancers with prior dance experience. A variety of movement qualities are introduced and explored. Stretching, natural and pre-ballet movements are introduced throughout the lesson. The class will be held on Saturdays from 2pm-2:45pm beginning on December 5th!
