Join Seffarine and internationally touring artists for a concert celebrating the release of Seffarine's new CD! The concert will feature live flamenco and Arabic singing, dancing and music and brings artists from Spain, Morocco, Madagascar, France, Iran and the U.S. to the stage.
Guest artists José Cortés and Manuel Gutierrez will be in Portland for one night only, giving Portland a rare chance to experience the passionate singing and dancing of these artists born into Gypsy flamenco tradition.

About the CD:
The record features songs recorded in Jerez, Spain with some of the living legends of flamenco, including Diego del Morao, Tomasa La Macanita and Luis de Perikin. Also on the CD are some of Portland's greatest musicians; Bobak Salehi, Damian Erskine, Bill Athens, Manavihare Fiaindratovo and Kendra Carpenter.
Seffarine's CD and release concert and CD are funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
