We will bring in one guest artist each week, Wednesday evenings 7:30-9pm, from June 17th through July 8th. Classes are open to experienced dancers. Check out Artist bios and roster: --June 17th - Elizabeth Higgins, Professor of Dance at Howard Community College, former dancer with Murray Louis and Nikolais Dance, Dance Compass, the Brian Brooks Moving Company and more!
-- June 24th - Katie C. Sopoci Drake, professional dancer, choreographer and teacher specializing in Laban-based contemporary dance. Currently a core collaborator of Mountain Empire Performance Collective and a company member of Rebollar Dance --July 1st - Ken Skrzesz, Active master teacher of acting and dance throughout the United States and was most recently the Executive Director of the Clear Space Theatre Company where he created the Arts Institute. --July 8th - Nicole McClam (pictured above), MFA Candidate at University of Maryland Department of Dance and HCC Dance Faculty Member
Stay tuned for our Specialty Master Class Series to follow, same night, same time, running July 15th through August 5th, with guest artists in jazz, hip hop, ballet, and tap.
Pricing:
$80 per 4-week session
$25 per drop-in (*$20 for KDT students)
Advance registration is recommended, but drop-ins will be welcomed as space allows.
